Overview

The Device Event Manager handles events originating from infrastructure devices such as ramp meters, traffic signals, and other intelligent transportation system (ITS) devices. These device-generated events provide real-time status updates and operational alerts that complement network-level event detection.

The service processes device status changes, configuration updates, and operational alerts, integrating them into the platform's unified event management system where they can be prioritized and responded to alongside other event types.
