Overview

The Simulation Validation service compares simulated metrics against actual metrics to assess how accurately simulations reflect real-world conditions. It calculates validation metrics such as error rates, correlation coefficients, and deviation statistics, providing operators with quantitative measures of simulation fidelity.

The service subscribes to both actual metrics (from the Metrics Service) and simulated metrics (from Sim Metrics), performing comparative analysis and producing validation scores. These scores help users understand how well their simulation models match observed reality, informing decisions about whether to trust simulation predictions for operational planning.
