Overview

The Traffic Model provides network-level traffic simulation capabilities, modeling vehicle flow through complex road networks, analyzing congestion patterns, and predicting traffic behavior under different conditions. It enables users to understand and optimize traffic flow at the network level through computational simulation.

The model simulates dynamic traffic states over time, capturing how congestion in one area propagates through connected areas, and produces detailed outputs including route solutions, traffic flow data, congestion metrics, and network performance indicators.

For detailed information about using the Traffic Model in workflows, see the Traffic Model documentation in the MDK section.
